Holy Week Alfombra Detail: Part 2
My post Holy Week Alfombra Detail: Part 1 was just a taster of the thousands of alfombras created during Semana Santa (Holy Week) in Antigua, Guatemala. As so many intricate details grabbed my attention, I had to break them down into separate posts.
These pictures are very beautiful and interesting. I must say: congratulations, very good!

Oh my! I’ve seen Nicole’s photos of alfombras, and I was amazed! But only after taking a look at your last two posts when I realized that I merely scratched the surface! Those alfombras have completely blown me away! Truly beautiful and amazing!

Thanks Bama, they truly are works of art and need to be seen to be believed! I´d recommend anyone to experience one Semana Santa here in Antigua! It´s incredible as there is so much going on but my favorite part are the alfombras. Check out my other posts on Semana Santa if you haven´t already although I will be posting more new ones.

Beautiful carpets, too bad they get destroyed afterwards!

I know but maybe that’s part of their beauty. They’re there for just an instant to be replaced by another creation later and no-one seems to be sad about it!
